Are UK crews unionised?

Crews in the UK are not unionised on the same scale as they are in some countries. Unions in the UK do not generally set rates of pay for feature film production, however individuals may be a member of a union such as BECTU or Equity.

Where do I find information on crew rates?

Crew rates in the UK are not set by unions but are negotiated by the producer and the individual crew member. For information on current rates we recommend that you contact a UK line producer.
